IN CONVERSATION: ADAPTING SHAKESPEARE
Sunday, October 28, 2012, 12:30 PM
Josephine M. Louis Theater, Evanston

Shakespeare’s plays have been the inspiration for countless artists who’ve adapted, reimagined, or created work inspired by the Bard.  Amanda Dehnert describes her new musical THE VERONA PROJECT as “loosely inspired by, but not limited to”, Shakespeare’s first comedy THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA, with a decidedly modern, contemporary twist.  Join us before the matinee on Sunday, October 28 for a pre-show conversation with Dehnert and an exciting panel of artists and scholars as they explore the challenges and joys of adapting Shakespeare.  The pre-show conversation is free.  Reservations can be made by contacting Austin James.
